Working for Justice: My personal Hero

It's February! This month we celebrate the birthdays of George Washington, our first President, and Abraham Lincoln, the man who freed the slaves. It is also Black History month, when we pay tribute to the African Americans who have played key roles in our national story; Harriet Tubman, W.E.B. DuBois, Jackie Robinson, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, and so many more.

So, RTC People, take a moment to think about your life here in the US. Who is your personal hero, in regards to justice and equality?  Then leave a comment about who is important to you and why - even if they are not famous.
Note: You sometimes have to click "post comment" several times until it says "Your comment was published."
